Designer Profile – Nina Berenboym
Nina Berenboym made her first hand sewn dress at the age of seven. After moving to Los Angeles in 1992 from Ukraine, her mom signed her up for art and ballet classes to explore her creativity and elegance. It was three years in the making, that Nina finally danced on toe shoes and shortly after painted her sister’s portrait.
After receiving her degree from Otis College of Art & Design, Nina went on to design collections for Young Contemporary, Juniors and Tweens. Her collections were sold at: Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Macys, Target and Kohl’s.
When the time came to create her own brand, it was Nina’s passion for fitness and nostalgia for ballet classes that guided her towards creating a “Feminine Movement”. A creation she builds, as a visionary for women who enjoy taking care of their health, body and soul. Out of a garage, NINA B ROZE active apparel was awakened.
